1- Identifies communication problems related to language and speech.
2- Manages patients who suffer from certain vocal disorders.
3- Provides speech therapy sessions designed for individual’s needs.
4- Assesses patients with swallowing disorders and provides methods to improve swallowing mechanism.
5- Counsels patients and families on how to cope with communication disorders.
6- Attends meetings as appropriate and contributes ideas for improving efficiency, productivity and patient satisfaction.
7 – Represents Fakeeh care in a positive and professional manner in the community.
8- Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices.
9- Develops thorough understanding of Fakeeh care policies and procedures and effectively participates in its execution.
10- Works with clients on a one-to-one basis, and in groups, to deliver therapy.
11- Writes and maintains confidential client case notes and reports, as well as information for clients, careers and other
professionals.
12- Manages a caseload taking account of priority cases, waiting lists, successful outcomes, referral and discharge of
service users.
13- Works with others to improve the effectiveness of service delivery.
14- Conducts personal development reviews with colleagues.
15- Supports/supervises newly qualified speech and language therapists and speech and language therapy assistants.
16- Sets organizational and personal objectives.
17-Demonstrates compassionate communication skills while providing support and care to the patients as “the patient is
the center of our care”.
Qualifications
Education: At least a master’s degree or complete an equivalent education program in speechlanguage
pathology.
Experience:Completion of four years Training & experience within the field of specialty, in
recognized hospitals or health centers.
Required Licenses/Registrations:Saudi Commission for Health Specialty and Ministry of Health Saudi license.
Language:Excellent command of oral and written English and prefer Arabic.
