Under Medical Director supervision, provides Traditional Chinese Medical (TCM) diagnostic/assessment and treatment services.
Work Schedule: Full Time Days
Administers acupuncture and associated oriental medical treatment to patients.
Consults with the Medical Director and other providers on patient assessment and treatment, contributing recommendations for care as appropriate.
Maintains professional conduct, confidentiality and observes patient rights at all times.
Maintains orderly and clean treatment rooms, monitors supplies and disposes of needles and supplies in accordance with applicable standards of care.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

- Minimum Required Education: Graduated from a formal full-time acupuncture program with at least 1,725 hours of entry-level acupuncture education. Minimum of 1,000 didactic and 500 clinical hours. Successful completion of the Clean Needle Technique (CNT) Course approved by the NCCAOM. Passed all portions of the NCCAOM examination in acupuncture including: comprehensive written examination in acupuncture and the point location examination.
Required Licensure/Certification: Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac) in the State of Colorado, Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. Certified in acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Preferred: Certification in Chinese Herbology by NCCAOM.
Minimum Experience: 3 or more years of experience in the practice of acupuncture and Chinese herbology. * BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire. All life support certification cards must be issued by either the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer. (American Red Cross for the Professional Rescuer is only good upon hire and all renewals will need to be through an American Heart Association sanctioned course.)
The pay range for this position is: $33.82 – $50.73 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant’s relevant experience. An annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.
